Could I get some feedback please?

Hello everyone!

I haven't spammed any music in quite sometime now. If fact i
am not really trying to spam but as i have been working on
material i wanted to get some feedback.

As you all know XLT is quite the diverse community so i was
thinking that i could get different view points positive or
negitive.

Two songs are here I figured two wouldn't be too many but would
still kind of give you the feel as to how they sound
together.

good god! you're not spamming if you're not selling! what
good is a community if you have to feel guilty about sharing
your creativity?

sorry, that was the coffee talking.

i will download later tonight. i actually checked a few of
your tunes at soundclick i think, and despite the massive
distortion of realaudio they sounded quite nice. i was
planning on downloading some of those tracks anyway.

Soundclick?? I dont understand. My music should only be
available at Vitiminic and this new place which i am testing
out. (besides the 3 vibes comps and rusudens remix showdown)
Has someone stolen my name?

Thanks i really do appreciate feedback!

ambient.. not my sort of thing at all, sorry, i can hear the
effort behind it but it just doesn't catch me
i'd need the repetitive stomping of a bunny face to face
with a guiny pig
man i'm drunk already

i like it alright, i wish there were maybe loud unconnected
clicks cracks over it or something, I think I just want a
harsh clear metallic sound to set the rest of the track
apart
man I'm not gonna be drunk for another 8 hours

A little background. I dont know if anyone remembers me
being a post whore in any lucid dreaming threads here but as
you might notice that is kind of the root word in my name.

The object is to create music that both stimulates and
sooths the brain as you fall asleep keeping it active
(hopefully) and creating more imagery in your mind

Yes i do. My older stuff is located at Vitiminic.com. I
really dont like that place as for some reason i have been
having numerous problems with them. Which is why i made the
switch.

They are older and you can see they are of poorer quality.
The tracks there will be reworked to fit with these.

Thanks for the comments to those that have listened

Let's see if this works. I don't know why there are problems
but i think this might help. They are more direct links:

This one is entitled "slush"

and this one is called "My Dearest"

consideration for future references! Thanks!

Just listened to slush & I have to say VP, that was a VERY
nice track indeed. I will be listening to it some more
before I comment further although You should make it longer
or mix it slowly into another track, think Lifeforms by
FSOL. If you can pull off some more tracks in the same vein
you could have the makings of a really nice album.

Keep me updated 8)

maybe it's my firewall or something? it just loads up a
page with the blue banner on the top and a patterned black
background.

I thought it might have been hosted somewhere else without
me knowing it! *phew*

Most of those tracks are going to be rewritten. I am redoing
one right now.

Rambling Madman: Wow thanks for the kind words! Once the CD
is complete i do have plans for it to be mixed together. :D

evolume: The trick is that i am retarded so it screws up
peoples connections :P

i think ambient tracks are very difficult to pull off.
these are very impressive. i think that the loops in slush
are a little bit too prominent, though. i hear more rhythm
than i'd like to. my dearest is perfect, i think. they're
both very beautiful tracks.

"i think that the loops in slush
are a little bit too prominent, though"

I was going to say the same thing.

VP.... try trimming the start & end points of the wave on
the zero crossing, if that doesn't get it try fading the
sample in at the start & out at the end, although this
should be done on a minute scale so you don't lose any
audio.

Cool bro

The track is good, for what it is. It seems you were going
for a nice lil ambient work with some nice textures.

I personally think you could work this into more of a song
than an ambient song, but its still very tight as it is,
plus im sure you wanted an ambient track - thats why you
made it!

hey, this deadmurder site has a GREAT server stability -
nice layout too. this 5+ MB song is only going to take me 25
minutes on a 46k connection.... seems nice.

what are their user limits, requirements, etc.? up and
downs?

Deadmurder is quite user friendly. I haven't noticed any
limits. You can just sign up and upload. Such an easy site
to use! I am quite impressed with it!

i'm listening to slush - nice ambience, a lot of nice
little subtleties in the texture department. a relaxing
track - i dig it. =D

what being on acid sounds and feels like.
