Max Payne 2 demo online now, just in case anyone is interested. Anyone else played it yet then? Its not bad, though can't say essentially adrenaline wise that its any better than Payne 1. Essentially its the same as Payne 1 but with better graphics and an unglier actor. |

yeah the game is too short, but WHO GIVES A SHIT!? It's SOOOO GOOD. Besides, there's going to be tons and tons of mods for it eventually, just like max payne 1. Just give it time. |

Its the most intense game I ever played I love the "dream" levels, and this time the feeling of being the "main caracter of a movie" was much more intense in my opinion. The only negative thing of the game was the last part of the last level, compared to the other levels the ending was much more difficult, just like the old Nintende games ;) |

Promo, I don't know of any off of the top of my head, but search for max payne mods and you'll find a shitload.. The physics in the game definately rival the Source engine (HL2), the graphics are pretty damn too, but all that combined with fucking killer gameplay and you've got yourself a masterpiece. The storytelling is superb (although I actually preferred the writing in Max Payne 1), and the graphic novel type delivery is a plus as well. 5 stars, two thumbs up, and fucking A. |

Yeah I think the story telling was better on Payne 1. Have found mods and started to play are few. Pretty damn good fun. Certainly breaths life into the old Max Payne. Don't know why I haven't downloaded any before. Has anyone played the HighStakes mod? That is a serious bitch. Not your average roll in there a blow everything away type level. It requires serious strategy planning to get anywhere. Seriously good challenge though.
