it's two guys making sweet guitar music, i have their album
'quiet is the new loud', it's ok, but i think you did a good
thing picking up that remix album since it probably bores
less quickly.

one of them, Erlend Øye, also made a cd with different
electronic artists from all over the world (e.g. prefure73
and mr. velcro fastenter if i recall well).
it's an ok album too, although his voice might start to
annoy you after a while

They're boring. The remix-album has one good song, and it's
numer 2, i think. Erlend Øye is totally gay (he lives here
in Bergen), and I don't understand why he would go to
techno-parties in Berlin, as he makes sleepy-guitar-music.

Their music makes me want to go to sleep, but the musical
press here in Norway hailed them as the kings of new
music... That doesn't necessarily have to be a good thing.

I agree with the Mastah. I'd much rather listen to simon &
garfunkel and not the wannabe's that i think the kings are.
I had some hope that erlend øye made something different
with his solo album, but it's just the same but with an
electronic beat. big boo.

Yeah. Kings of Convenience make no sense. (just HAD to put
that rhyme in there, 'cause it sucked).

haha! That would be more fitting... if comedians were to
make you sleep, that is.
