Are you alright? I heard there was flooding and tornadoes
in Houston... i'm hoping you were out of the wake of the

yes, i'm alright.

my stepmother called saying she was stuck trying to pick up
the kids from school in her volvo, so i drove the suv down
to get her.

then we drove to the bayou to see how high it was and it was
almost hitting the overpass! fun fun

well, not really, but there were a few spots that were
exciting. we had to drive around finding alternate routes
that we could traverse because the flooding was so bad in
some spots. :)
