I've only been out of my home state twice - once in mddle
school (just next state over) and once as an infant, which i
don't remember. and i've also never left the country.

is this abnormal for a person my age?

at least u live in texas, it would be really fucked up if
you lived in rhode island or something. also, knowing your
age would be helpful in evaluating this

I think london is pretty shitty to be honest, there are much
nicer places to go. The only good thing about london is gigs
and shops the rest of london is really passable.

I've travelled quite a bit, but most of it was when I was
younger with my parents

the only "Adult" travelling I've done is to Amsterdam,
france a few times, and spain. Been around the UK a bit to
festivals and what not, but that don;t really count.

When I was younger I travelled around Florida a bit, went to
St Lucia, Greece, Gibralta, Spain and france loads.

France is only a quick trip on the ferry and quite cheap so
we used to go every xmas

the sad state of affairs, atleast in the US, is that
international travel is pretty rare. most people i know have
never been out of the country, and if they have, its to
mexico or some vacation get away spot. so no, its not
abnormal.
me, i've traveled a bit for my age (18). been to england,
france, wales, scotland, switzerland, italy and germany, and
pretty much every state in the US.
i'm planning a trip to thailand and japan next year, so if
anyone has any advice on places to go, things to do, that'd
be nice.

That's true that the majority of Americans don't travel
internationally. I heard some statistic that only a
relatively small number even have a passport (around 20% I
think; not entirely sure).
