yeah, not orb, but theey are rooted in it for sure, alex
patterson (from the orb) and mad professor are curently
remixing each others work to be released later, sounds
exciting... actually, "slvg dvb" is much more imperssive
than the two i mentioned earlier...

i always think of dub as just putting a muffled reggea bass
beat in to an existing loop...

i have a few dub remixes of 80's stuff (Depeche Mode,
Information Society, Erasure) and they don't impress me
much.

but, a good drum n bass with dub is ok

maybe you're right........so what?......it's cool
anyway.....

.......btw, dub can be very different.....listen to ott (for
example)

reckon

Yes, that first album (I think you're refering to "Dead
Elvis", "Dirt" was just a track on that album...) has some
great dub tracks. I think I prefer their rockier stuff on
the two newer albums though.

I like dubby drums. *in Abba style* So I sing, thank you for
the deee-laaaaaaaaaaaaaay for giving it to me!

yea dub is great,

check out "zion train" if you want electronic and trippy
dub.

download Dub Syndicate's "creation", it's the most
beautifull dub track there is.

Its not something I tend to listen to a lot. I kinda think
when I hear a dub track that you're hear one you've heard em
all, if you catch my drift. Lol. Dub superficially does
often come across as very sammy.

Eddy Wally,

Your name is a bit weird but yeah Zion Train are cool. I've
got a couple of Zion Train things here and there. But they
tend to be dub with more funky breakbeats and shit. Some
Zion Train the bass and beats can really rock.

.....that mad professor and lee perry has been successfully
downloaded and listened about fifty times....
