It's a little corny, but it still has some good nuances.

There are many simple things I like very very much.

for instance this proof of the sum from 1 to n being
n(n+1)/2 :

1 + 2 + 3 + .. + n = S
n + n-1 + ... + 2 + 1 = S
----------------------
(n+1) + (n+1) +... + (n+1) = 2S = n(n+1)

My favorite AE release, closely followed by Tri Repetea.

I like thier later stuff, cause it sounds interesting. The
onlder stuff is ok, but its kinda dated, and sounds way too
IDM-y. IDM is cheesy. Glitch is where its at.

i bought this and incunabula at the same time but never got

I thought just to love "Piezo" on this release, but today
I've discovered to love "Further" as well.

Hey! We like the same 2 tracks, cool...

What is this 2 second silent gap you guys are talking about?
I listened to this in its entirety sever al times, I think I
would have noticed this... Is it in the middle of the last
track?

Ha! I actually didn't see your post at the beginning of this
thread, but yes, we definitely like the same songs :)

This was my first Aw-tek-er release back in 1994, and it's
always sounded fresh to me. Incunabula, on the other hand,
always sounded retro and a little raw... maybe that's just
me. But when I first heard 'Foil' it blew me away. I still
think it's one of the best, if not the best, Autechre track.
I also really like Silverside and Nine, although I don't
think any of you have referred to those. I have Amber on
tape, and I always felt that the second half was less
interesting than the first. Although TearTear starts well,
it doesn't really go anywhere after that, I think. Also
Yulquen doesn't seem to go anywhere at all, and Further and
Nil taper out about half-way through. But enough of the
negatives - this is a brilliant album, and still one that I
can listen to with great pleasure.

PS. What is that picture on the cover? It looks incredible.

I though most people hear didn't like Amber and that I was
all alone with Woof and a few others.

Piezo is my all time fav electronic track... makes me
shiver.
But Confield is a better album.

piezo/nil - one of the greatest melodies ever. Reminds me of
winter 2 years ago. Best album of ae.
