anybody know how to get the succeeding frames of a moving
bitmap file seperately? (need it for thing at uni)?

If you mean what I think you do, you need an animation
program, like animation shop (comes with Paint Shop Pro).
First though convert it to jpeg cause bitmaps do indeed
suck.

i know, but if you really want to know, i have to program
some kind of demonstration in matlab that shows how mpeg
compression works, so i have to start from moving bitmaps as
it is as uncompressed as you can go.... the trouble is that
i need the frames separately!

(btw is the watmm forum down or am i having problems?)

I've never heard of a moving bitmap...
