I bought this great album last year: "Clifford gilberto", I
was young and I needed the money". and I was wondering does
anyone know what he's doing right now, does he use other
names, has he got more releases? etc. And what about the
album; you like it as much as i do?

well his style reminds me a little bit of Squarepusher, lots
off bass-guitar and contra-bass, a bit jazzie

Yeah, I own that album, I'd like to know what Clifford
Gilberto is doing right now. He's a beast of a bass player.
Check out "I Wish I Was A Motown Star" or "Giant Leaps."
He's definitely trip-hop/jazz with lots of keys and bass.

I think Clifford works at hi_res ....

http://www.hi-res.net/

No new stuff apart from the 10th victim traxx on last
ninjatune compilation.

could not find him on hi-res, pretty cool site anyways. I
hope he releases something new on ninjatune (for the money)
seems that he's still in touch with them and he didn't drove
away in his big green American car (I hope). TnX

He is very inspired by DJ Food too and all the Drill&Bass
pionneers... And the beat programming reminds me much more
of vsnares (the jazzy stuff) than squarepusher.
I really hope he's just having a long break before coming
back sooner or later.
