I know this probably doesn't mean anything to people outside of Australia or even to people in Australia, just me. But I want to say, before it's erased from my memory entirely, that they mentioned me on SBS's The Movie Show. You see, The Movie Show used to have a message board and I started posting on it, or 'trolling' if you will, and after a month of this they shut it down. And on the show they said "It's a shame people had to ruin things for others," and when they said 'people' they meant me, and I was warmed in my heart. Anyway, they put up a new message board and it's rubbish, who would want to post on rubbish. Also, they printed my letter in the Guide section of the Victorian newspaper the Herald Sun a few months ago. I used the name 'Daniel Johnston' and I was talking about the guy who reviewed television and I said something about how he is a nobody after briefly reading a letter that claimed he was "omnipotent." Anyway, I wrote the letter on a typewriter and couldn't go back over some parts so there were bits that made it look like I had something wrong with my head on something. They featured the letter in the article section and he talked about it along with another letter and they featured a blurb from my letter that said, "I mean, he goes home and drinks a glass of cordial" and, I just wanted to say, by this I meant he was poor and didn't drink wine. But, in responding, he said he never drinks cordial. |
