Our deepest seas are vastly unexplored , We know more about the moon than we know about our deep deep seas. Do you think we are missing vital information about our planet ? I think sending a maned craft to the very bottom of the oceans to explore would be just as amazing as sending a man to the moon . Your thoughts please :) |

all they could find there are just microorganisms and such...im not a biologist so i cant say what would that mean :) i always liked sea tho, and all those expeditions with small submarines going to extreme depths... |

I think the earth is something like 90% water so if anything was going to crash on earth its probably going to hit the water . Human beings have only had radar and satilites for a blink of an eye in the earths history . |

i think its more those deepsea streams that are the problem - especially for those little subs...but i could be wrong :) |

i would never go that deep in a sub...imagine you get down there and its dark and you cant see anything infront of you...and then suddenly an eye of a giant squid appears infront of you...could be quite spooky :) |

I'd love to see a sub get down there, but it's SOOO difficult. Prolly akin to landing on the moon. The pressure is so immense, and the dive in a tiny capsule takes so long, it's so dark, and currents and everything. I hope some day we get down there and explore, but I'm scared of water, so it ain't gunna be me. |
