What do you think of Æ's other stuff? Incunabla is ok, but IMO Autechre's weakest album. EP7 is beautiful, as is LP5, Chiastic Slide, Cichle Suite and Confield. There are other ones that totally rule the world too, but those are my favorites. |

well see, I haven't really heard any other full albums... the record stores here in my town only ever had one copy of Incunabula, and I already picked that one up... they don't carry any other Autechre... but I've been meaning to order some in, probably Amber and Tri Repetae next, so I can work my way up to the weirder stuff... |

Yeah. Amber and tri repete have some beautifull stuff, but its going to take you so long to work your way up. My advice? Get LP5 next. Its fucking brilliant. Its also the most "Novice friendly" of their most recent work. Then get EP7, and plan to have your entire perception of music warped, molded, shatered and smeared into the strangest and twisted most amazing thing. |

I usually don't bother memorizing song titles, but Cfern is on EP7, I am pretty sure. Rae is on LP5 (the best track on that album is IMO is 'Arc Carrier'... tastey arp-trickery). I am not sure about dropp. If I am not mistaken it is a compilation track. It would be wise to check out their discography at www.warprecords.com They have such strange song titles its tricky to remember them. I usually just go by track number. |

Yeah, you could call the album something like "Sliced Bread Stabbed Me in the Eye, and all I got was this Stupid T-Shirt" and you could have a picture of the t-shirt on the cover... |
