ive been thikning about getting this album just wondering
if the people here who have it like it or not. ive heard
both good and bad things about it, so your opinions would be
most helpful

if you collect richards or mike's records then, yay

i perhaps only listened to it 5 times and i wasnt that
impressed - also sounds pretty dated imo

i've had it for years.
i've probably only listened to it a handful of times.

it never really "did it" for me.

but there are folk that dig it here. just not me.

Mr. Frosty is pretty OK. It always kinda brings a smile on
my face, just like the happy little kid that I am.

Wasn't overly impressed with the rest though.

it's so so... good compared to the electroclash movement
that bears a resemblance to it...

It's the dead beat from snoresville.

A similar and much much better album is Pistachio Island by
Ilkae - they take a similar nutty silly approach but there's
more depth and variation to the tracks and they're much much
shorter - 45 tracks averaging a minute twenty per, so they
don't have time to beat each little gem of an idea into the
ground. Superb album on random play!

for collectors only, this album is sub par in every way
except the cover art and a few nice sounds. the silly vibe
can't save the lame, repetitive tracks from being boring or,
at worst, annoying. at least, that's the view from here.

I loved it. I love the silliness. BuBuBUBah is a great track
and so is Mr Frosty. I've always thought there was more of
Mike's influence with the cheesy synth/brass sounds. But OK,
you wouldn't want them to repeat this kind of stuff.
