say there, would you comment on this rmx of telefon tel
aviv? it is a 170bpm d'n'b excursion with a fair bit of
corybantic amen rolling here and there. it can be found
here:

ffe quicksilver rmx

thankyou.

Those little background bleeps and bloops could use just a
bit more amplification. I only say this as it gave the
original track such life.

Otherwise i really how you encorperated all the sounds and
brought everything together.

I think you did a great job remixing that. The break veried
enough to the point where it didn't get boring.

Great Job on the ending! I like how it slowed down but
wasn't too dramatic.

Is this representive of your other tracks? You seem to have
a lot there and i am going to have a look around

Good track - I like the mix with the drums rolled back a bit
and the rich bass notes licking around the middle.

The breaks could have been a bit more corybantic though. ^_^

vp, thanks very much! this is the second d&b/breaks track
that i've made (the first is called "the capture house" and
is on the zbox site). most of the other stuff on the site
is pretty chilled idm, more or less. "come outside inside"
is the only one with vocals and abrasive distorted guitar a
la shoegaze. "jazz hands" is more upbeat, but leans towards
techno and has guitar also.

i agree that the blips and bleeps in the ffe rmx should be
brought out more... i have a second mix that i'm working on
that's much more chilled but lets the blips bubble up
more...

fleetmouse, thank you. next breaks track i make will rattle
your windowpanes and be dedicated to you!

ohhh very very nice. reminds me a lot of squarepushers 'hard
normal daddy' , but it's still very original. i like the mix
a lot a lot. dunno what else to say really, but for sure the
blips and stuff need to come out more - i'm definitely
looking forward to the chilled mix:D

This is good, it reminds quite alot of early ltj bukem,
which is definately a good thing.

Well done you should do more stuff like this.

map, all i've seen you post is samples of other people's
music...

perhaps i just missed your thread. create a thread with a
link and i'll check it out.

i've got a nice library of xltronic tunes and would like to
add some more.

skink, interestingly i've never heard ltj bukem. but i do
love breaks and drum'n'bass, so i will probably produce some
more.

thanks for your comments!

i'd like to check out some early ltj bukem but i'm on a mac
(no filesharing whatnot) with a 28kbps modem and have no
income currently. someone mail me a mix!

the best part about making your own music is free music.

thanks for listening and enjoying bonsmuggle.

map, where's yr thread?
