Phitchix from bed to be on 2001-11-23 00:47 [#00054709]

Fresch from Trondheim, Norway on 2001-11-23 00:50 [#00054712]

your first CD, vinyl...even cassette.

don't be shy now.

Phitchix from bed to be on 2001-11-23 00:55 [#00054715]

the first vinyl well it have to be a sound effect album or
darkside of the moon

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-11-23 01:53 [#00054729]

my first cd really was The Bends by Radiohead... that was my
first cd...

Frothbottom from New York on 2001-11-23 02:34 [#00054742]

hmm...I think it was analogue bubblebath 3.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-11-23 03:06 [#00054752]

I think it was Green Day, Dookie.

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-11-23 03:19 [#00054763]

I haven't listened to The Bends in ages... good album
though... one thing I like about Radiohead is their steady
progression from crap, to greatness... :)

Pablo HOney is horrible...

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-11-23 03:22 [#00054768]

I hear you. I only like Creep, I'm embarrassed to listen to
the rest in public. They were SO awful and generic... oh....
dear, they sucked.

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-11-23 03:23 [#00054771]

I dunno, it just sounds bad... The Bends was such a step
up... the bends is a top notch alternative album, where as
Ok Computer is reaching the pinnacle of greatness... Kid A,
and Amnesiac are in a totally different ball park
altogether...

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-11-23 03:24 [#00054774]

Yeah, they have QUITE the impressive career arc... I wonder
what's next from Tom and da boyz? A rap album?

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-11-23 03:37 [#00054794]

yeah, I do get excited about Radiohead... they're one of the
few bands to do that to me nowadays... I was exstatic about
Amnesiac, but I knew it was gonna be similar to Kid A, so I
was still not as excited as I could've been... their next
album should be great methinks...

Taxi on 2001-11-23 03:38 [#00054796]

Maybe they will think about trying to not rip off autechre
and get a few of their own ideas.

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-11-23 03:44 [#00054804]

well, I don't really think they were copying anyone... they
were just getting a feel for electronica, and obviously
they're gonna sound like other people, and groups, cause
they're just starting off in the new genre of music... but I
think the next album should be good, they got a good feel
for what they want to do I think... by the way, I Might be
Wrong is my fav track from Amnesiac... great fusion of rock
and electronic in my opinion on that track...
