So do you like his music ?

I think Before and After Science is his best album.

Moby blows chunks.

Eno's influence on modern music is huge.

Period.

He's much better than Moby, who bores everyone to death with
his total lack of character... Eno has PLENTY of character
and it shows in his music and especially in his whimsical
lyrics

oh lord, don't make me CUT you.

I love Brian Eno and have always enjoyed his works. However,
i cannot say that I am an Eno afficianado, but i did enjoy
his work with Talking Heads (Remain in Light = fucking
awesome) and I still find myself listening to On Land, Music
for Airports and Music for Films quite often.

The Paul F Savage Orchestra has a nice cover of Here Come
the Warm Jets
.... :D

i funkin adore Apollo, even just for the spooky yelp in the
background halfway through. i've spent the night on acid in
the forest with it blasting out, marvellous

Music for Airports was performed whole in Schiphol airport a
few years ago by Bang on a Can, i'd have loved to have seen
that, imagine being in the airpot lounge waiting for a
flight and seeing that.

"The Bellhead" on After the Heat is one of my favourite Eno

The Pearl is a very nice collab. with Harold Budd... more of
a Budd album tho, I think...I like their second
collaboration too, but cannot recall its name.

it is too short.

I know he produced a U2 album... apart from them and Talking
Heads, I can't think.

rez, Plateaux of Mirror was the one I was thinking of to
begin with - I prefer that to The Pearl :]

being music for airports overall. found an original pressing
of it in the attic. dont have a record player though :\

I don't like his collab. with Byrne, My Life In The Bush
Of Ghosts
, very much I'll admit.

The other day, i saw a book with the same title as that.

I like his ambient stuff... "Apollo..." and "Music for
airports" is great!
I also have "The Pearl" and "On land", I should listen to
them more I guess, since I don't know them much.

I like his early stuff more than the pure ambient... Here
Come the Warm Jets, Another Green World, and his work with
Roxy Music. But Brian is the proverbial shit.

Mmmm, i should really buy some more eno. I've only got
"music for airports" and "my life in the bush of ghosts",
both of which i do like, but not quite enough to
justify spending more cash, apparently.
