Nice beats. I would probably cut some of the intro. Maybe
start the track at 00:30 and get into business quicker. I
really like the drums that come back in at 3:45. The beats
are great!

This track's a keeper.

indeed.... yeah, that intro could probably be shortened a
bit, now that i think about it, especially for a demo.

thanks for listening!
beats are always my strong point usually, though i've been
trying to develop my melodies more. Fleetmouse best put my
style as "mathematical drumthuggery."

funny thing about that track is it took me almost NO time to
write - it just came out naturally. the melody is actually a
part of a fractal that was made using Oblivion. pretty nice
for something i was initially just screwing around with.

offline marlowe from Antarctica on 2003-11-07 15:32 [#00939932]

very good track, oddio, liked it a lot - I agree with Paco -
ditch the introduction, it nearly made me turn it off before
the beat kicked it ;)

From about 2.00 onwards, this is fucking schweet, seriously.
Not too keen on the intro but when it comes together it
really works. Nice work man.

I agree with marlowe and paco. Ditch the intro. Also watch
your sounds, you can make stuff sound distorted and noisey
without it damaging your speakers. I almost turned it off
during the intro, but when I read a few comments I realised
it got better after that.

Definately sounds like videogame music, so you met your goal
;) Nice breakdown at 3.02 and a nice high section at 3.42.
Good ending too.

Sounds pretty polished to me. Maybe the intro could've been
just a tad bit shorter, but I wouldn't have wanted it to be
completely cut out. I like intros on tracks sometimes. :)
Kinda like V-Proc's big power up intro; it's my favorite
thing about the tune. I like the craziness at the end, too.
The beats get kind of liquidy almost, I guess because of the
combination of the sounds and the bpms.

Cool that posted a link to the first, I was wanting to hear
it. Please recommend some other tracks of yours that you
would like me to download. Sorry I haven't done this sooner,
I've been kinda busy. I still haven't gotten D-Steak's. :\

thanks a ton, clic - yeah i like the intro too, but i can
see how it can bore some people - maybe i'll just cut it in
half.

i liked some of the drum programming, lots of energy. some
of the melodic parts felt awkward, and the overall melodic
theme didn't appeal to me. to me the track sounds like a
demo, and would benefit from more detail in the rough parts.
perhaps the style is just not something that i appreciate.
