I'm afraid I'm not. But I was young, these were dark times.
I want to move on now, forget about all this and start a new
life, under a joyful sun.

thing about The Fifth Element is it could have been
quite a good film. if Besson didn't go all new-agey and went
on about love saving the day, etc.

and an actual enemy would've helped too, instead of a huge
flaming ball with a crackly voice.

offline Dozier from United States on 2003-11-07 19:04 [#00940419]

wtf. i must suck, because i still love the fifth element.

has anyone realised that the small kid, the coloured girl is
the new reincarnation of neo ? or am i wrong ??

i hadn't thought of that but i don't think she is. she is
not human, she is the offspring of two programs.

and she is a program with "no purpose." hence she was set
for deletion. neo, on the other hand, had a purpose. he
was just too dense to figure it out quickly.

sorry for getting off-topic ? but did i miss something ? i
had never in my mind to insult someone or something... that
was the only word that came in my mind.

if that's very offensive, please tell me so i won't use it
further...

karma=dharma.
um, am i the only one who noticed that the hindu guy said
karma instead of dharma. he was talking about his duty not
his spirit. besides that i liked the movie more than
reloaded. i agree with zues on most every point.

yes, i was a little confused when he mentioned karma in
relation to the rest of his speech.

How come in the first movie zion couldn't fight off 3
senitels, and in the 3rd they were fighting millions?

I didn't really understand the film coz I was so drunk when
I saw it last night, but I remeber it was OTT.

A handfull of people were coming out of the cinema in
Cardiff last night, muttering that they didn't like the
ending of it.....saying how it was trying to portray Neo as
some modern day 'Christ' like character....

....fuck them I say! I thought it was incredible. :)

I'm not gonna post a whole review, cos if I have to tell you
