i had this dream a couple of nights ago - it really bothered me, because it was very vivid and detailed, and i remembered it clearly after i woke up. it was, well it seemed, like the end of the world. but it was diffrent than i had always imagined. what happened is these volcanoes started erupting everywhere, and i do mean everywhere, like at least one near every city. Smoke filled the sky and it eventually blocked out the sun. And then a very long winter came. Everything was frozen, but somehow electricity was still working in certain areas - don't ask me how. some people were using stolen sunlamps on the streets to survive. and there was looting and violence everywhere. i don't know why i dreamed this, but it sure did freak me out. |

i find such dreams very interesting. the important part, i think, it finding out why it bothers you/freaks you out. imagine, in every instant there are many human beings who are passing away. if you are open minded to the possibility of parallel or multiple universes, there are likely worlds collapsing in each instant as well. imagine then, that these worlds are not far away at all, but rather are completely enfolded within our world, as our world is enfolded within other worlds. imagine, then, that the energy of your own mind and your own existence is enfolded and expressed within these other worlds, worlds both living and dying... |

I had a dream that my parents were trying to kill me. I had to defend myself and kill them. Worst dream of my life. Woke up crying. |

those are scary ones i had a scary one not so long ago and i woke up and screamed...it was just before i woke up - i was in that half awake half asleep condition when i looked down on my bed and there was ghost sitting right there...that one really freaked me |

If you were talking to me, Oddiob, then yeah I think it was too. I felt like I wasn't appreciating my parents and was losing touch with them. It was like a wake up call, a really bad one. |

sometimes when you wake up, your eyelids are kind of glued together by gunk, and everythings blurry. I once dreamt (when I was about 10) that I woke up and my eyesight had gone extremely blurry, like the above, but chronic. I started crying in the dream and ran down to my parents in the livingroom, completely panicked. then I woke up. that scared me. |

ok.. end of the world.. one time when i was about 6 or 7 i saw this amazing cartoon on cable (i think HBO?).. i've wondered for years now what it was called because i need to see it again. basically it's all these stone creatures at the end of the earth (literally) falling off some kind of cliff... it's really sad but an awesome sight |

i have no idea.. it'd be sometime in the late '80s. is it called "aftermath"? i just did an IMDB search and none of the plots sounded familiar and it's hard to tell which are animated, if any. have you seen it? does it have a similar scene? |

i dreamt my dad died last night it was from this door, whenever it opened, it would throw an electric shock out of it... he wanted to show me, but i already knew... the shock went through his system, sending him to the ground. i woke up saying "dad?... DAD!?" very disturbing. |
