i'm pretty excited, i have a nicely put together mix
today.. i don't want to just give you the playlist in
advance but it starts with a nice rock track then moves into
post-rock then rock/IDM hybrid then a bunch of electronica,
proto-electronica/early experimental rock, ambient, electro
hip-hop..

can, prefuse 73, a silver mt. zion, new plaid, new amon
tobin, rjd2, the roots, mos def, sonic youth, outkast, 808
state, afx, baby ford

just listen!

stream online (requires windows media player, but it should
work whether you have dialup or broadband, PC or Mac) -
today's playlist @ same URL later today

enjoy, feel free to ask questions or post comments, i'll
respond

starts 10 minutes from right now

thanks alberto! good luck on the essay man

oddio & nacmat, a broadband connection is ideal, but some
people have been able to listen w/ dial-up modems w/o much
or any buffering. sometimes it helps to close WMP then click
on the audio stream and get it to restart.

what i was able to hear was ACE, travis. i would have
continued to listen if not for the continuous buffering -
i'm sure it's due to my connection being so poor lately -
cause back before my trojan worm problem, i was able to
listen to BBC Radio without missing a beat.

i believe you nacho

unfortunately, warp-radio.com --- the company that does the
web streaming --- is notorious for having buffer problems
for a lot of people. maybe some day it will switch to winamp
shoutcast which is better IMO.

it was giving me trouble initially too - getting it stable
is kind of like luck - you didn't close the windows before
the music came up, did you?

when you clicked on the button for the stream, did you close
the "Warp Radio" window before the music began to play?

also, there is an update for Windows Media Player that
improves streaming audio - worth a look if you don't have it
already.
