zebox question

How does the uploading work? Is it through a browser
thingy-majingy (like deadmurder.com) or do I need to use
FTP?

I'm thinking about getting an account when my next batch of
new songs are recorded and done. Deadmurder.com is ok for
now, but zebox seems more serious.

-P

PS. Check out Jean Strong on zebox or mp3.com. Her voice is
great in a twilight zone jazzy kinda way.

I know it's not free. I just wanted to know how the
uploading works, I'm not sure I even remember how FTP works.

I dislike uploading through brower - you have no idea of
progress.

On deadmurder you see the pageload bar fill up as if you're
loading a slow webpage. With IE6, that is.

yes, you see that too when u/l to zebox, but the bar always
becomes full long before it is actually done.

why not use mp3.com.au - you can upload as many tracks as
you want (at 128k) and it's free.
minus point: there's about 36 hours waiting time, as tracks
need to get approved. the nice thing about zebox is that
your track is immediately available, ofcourse.
