This is getting kind of dangerous. I wish people would stop bragging about soulseek, or at least comparing it to napster. The thing is, if it gets the stigma of being the next napster, its going to become the next target. File sharing on the internet is becoming a large mark, and because of the legal precidents that the record companies set in their case against napster, it is going to be that much easier to crucify small file sharing comunities like soulseek. I mean, I know the guys at soulseek are pretty happy about the success they have been sharing. Its not really my place to say "don't go around telling people" But still, the stigma of it being known as the next napster could sink it even before it leaves beta testing stage. Tact. |
