im really impressed by choc wheelchair album, i think its his best yet! his first album that i truely really like. the junglist tracks are very well made, i like the way he lets some of the tracks breathe more, and the production is as always top notch... WITBOAS was good, but i was kinda bored of it within 2 weeks. but i think on this album he shows a more creative and playful side, which is all good!. does anyone agree or am i wanking too much? |

it is indeed mister. a playfull violent awesome lp. i`m tired of reading here and there peepz that say "vsnares is a pile of shit", his music takes time to settle in, at first i didn`t get it either but then i realized i wasn`t really listening. Vsnares is sort of a subcontious music, if you try to pay attention to every single beat and glitch, you can`t figure it out as a whole, where the melody and the real deal is. So........to all you wankers that DON`T and CAN`T understand vsnares music, just say "I DON`T GET HIS MUSIC", or straight out "I don`t like his music", don`t be saying his stuff is shit just because your ears and brains are lazy fucks. got that Bob? |

Don't or can't get his music??? What the fuck are you typing? What is to get? He is a beat maker at best, his melodies are either extremely basic or stolen from other tracks, he doesn't or can't even interplay the melodic content with the beats for most of the tracks he shits out. If he didn't release so much stuff people would soon forget about him as every single album he has made has a shelf life of about 5 listens. He makes cheesy childish attempts at violent music that most people would be embaressed to play in front of anyone other than an 8 year old relative that might get a bit of a kick out of it for 5 seconds. VSnores is one of the most overrated electronic artists with a deal that I have ever listened to. |

Most Squarepusher bores me, the kpta's as I have said elsewhere are shit. I don't understand what you mean about "that's too easy"...what is too easy? I have actually bought a few and listened to all of snores stuff but at the end of the day it is boring, it lacks any sort of emotion. I listen to at least 6 hours of music a day, and I have listened to tons of stuff and enjoy loads of different styles, but rather than listen to snares I would rather listen to oxygenfad off this board. Far too many times I have listened to snores and it becomes apparent that little thought or craft goes into most of his tracks...you can easily tell the ones he has taken his time on, and they aren't too bad, but he seems to release albums full of 90% filler. |

The only reason I type stuff about snores is because I think he has talent, he just isn't using it all. I like a couple of the tracks off chocolate wheelchair, but I couldn't listen to the album as a whole as it is mostly junk most artists would throw away or develop more. And I stand by the cheesy comment...that track about the girl with the machine gun on WITBOAS is cringe worthy. |

I quite like WITBOAS, but still only about 3 of the tracks feel properly completed when I listen to them...the rest sound like unfinished demo's. The reason I chose She as an example is that is symbolises what I don't like about him...to break the album up as he lacks natural variety he had to resort to stupid stuff. I listen to his new stuff because I honestly think he will one day do something that will blow me away, but sadly with each release I feel the chances are getting less and less. |
