I think McAfee's firewall is very good. It is based on
NeoWatch, a firewall company bought up by McAfee.

I use NeoWatch, and it has passed all internet security test
I have come across.

Infact, I'd like to upgrade to the McAfee one, cuz mine is
getting kinda outdated.. But I'll be damned if I'm ever to
buy it.. I bought my antivirus software from Symantec, and
that's the first (and last?) time I've ever bought any
software.

I'd stay away from disk cleaning utilities though, as they
tend to fuck up a lot - at least that's my experience..

I know, but it's simply not good enough, so I've disabled
it. Besides there are limited options in it, imo.

this is trrue, and is it good? i've always been led to
believe that although it exists that it would be betterr to
get an independent one.

yeah, you cant really fiddle with it much, but it does an ok
job.

I havent had any issues with it, but you know MS. Works for
one person and not the next

yeah, actually the firewall in itself is quite good - better
than I ever thought it to be.
