What artist do you like that produces noise as well as
music ?

I like smojphace regardless of whatever anyone else
says....

squarepusher also puts out some killer noise tracks

i dont know anyone except afx that does both - and perhaps
tim hecker, who's music could be called noise - but not the
classic noise

but i do like akita and haswell a lot (tho i dont think they
produce music appart from noise)

I like Smojphace too, Merzbow is excelent 'noise'. Don't
know anyone apart from afx that does both.

There is a great 'noise' track on the latest Lou Reed album
though, called Fire Music.

when he eventually gets round to releaseing some of his
other noise you'll be blown away. I saw him dj at the
Bjork concert last year and he the noise stuff was excelent.

Whitehouse are good.
The Smojphace DJ set, what I've heard of it, is far, far
better than the EP.
