Uzim: you getting Panther? It's meant to improve performance
by 20% and has tonnes of great features.

I've had one virus on one disk many years ago, I just can't
understand how people manage to get so many.

i've had a computer for 10 years and never gotten a virus.
i don't understand how some people get them so often. i
guess you have to have stupid friends who send you jokes or
something. or download off p2p and not scan everything.

I remember my first virus. It went by the name of Yankee
Doodle...

It was on a cold rainy day in november. Out of boredom I was
scanning my computer for virusses, when all of a sudden a
crisp 'ping' sound warned me that there was something wrong.
Slightely in panic I clicked on the 'details' button of the
warning-window that had just popped up, and there i sat, not
yet knowing that this experience would change my entire life
from that moment on. After having shed a few tears I
realised that I had to act quickly to prevent more drama.
Quick as a fox I ran towards my local shop, which was about
to close, and found myself buying a rather big axe. After
having returned home I went upstairs towards the computer
room and with an inhumanely powerful swing I placed the
new-bought item in the center of my monitor. At that
particular moment.. ..well I could type anything here since
presumably no-one will be as crazy as to read this far :)
therefore I might just as well cut this nonsense off here.
What the hell am i doing anyway, i should be working on my
essay. :(
