I'm bored. So someone give me some good nes games I should
play. I'm getting kinda tired of Mike Tyson's Punch out and
Kirby's Dreamworld all the time.

My mind is telling me that 'Strider' was my favorite NES
game.

argh, snes SF were the worst!!!! Terrible graphics, sound,
innovation.

They were good for the their time, but SF Alpha and SF3 are
much better.

I used to love double dragon2. Especially in the 2 player
mode that also allowed you to kick eachother :-p

I played it all the time with my little brother.

"yeah i promise i won't kick you this time, come on, climb
down the ladder!"

*climbs down*

"no wait, i changed my mind"

And then i'd kick him from the ladder into the bottomless
pit, muahahaha!

The best game was probably super mario bros 3. I was so
excited when that game came out. I had looked at the
screenshots in all the previews over a million times. I
couldn't wait to get one of those tails and actually start
to fly!

Or on some other pictures i had noticed that the ground
wouldn't always be flat, but there'd be ramps and hills to
walk up/slide down from. None of that had ever been done
before!

But the best nes-game experience i ever had must have been
the first time i played through the legend of zelda. In
retrospect it probably wasn't all that great (not as great
as SMB3 anyways!) and far too simple. But at that time...
ah... it was just awesome. I spent 6 months of my life in
hyrule :-) Every new dungeon i discovered gave me
goosebumps. It was amazing. I doubt i'll ever be able to get
that involved in a game. You just have to be a child
for that.

yeah! i've been trying to find a copy of that for a long
time now. i should probably just get it off ebay.

man, smartball was one of my favourites when i was younger
too! it was the most evil game of it's time. hah. my
brother's friend said "this game is too happy." when he saw
it; obviously he didn't see the moon & its darkside. sucks
that it doesn't have a save option.

lmao surround, I use to do the exact same thing.

I won't jump kick you off the ladder, i promise. Ahhh, I'd
kill off the 2nd player in the 1st level.

Castlevania 3, Mario 3, Mega Man 2, Ninja Gaiden 2.

And Double Dragon 2 was spectacular! That series just kind
of sputtered out. The third one was weak, but the 4th one
for SNES was fantastic. Then the 5th one was an atrocious
head to head cartoony fighter... that was the final nail in
the coffin.
