released in '95.

yeah i was kinda aware of that.

Garbage and Anvil Vapre were released in 1995 as was Tri
Repetae but i think the three were released together in a
2-disc set under Tri Repetae ++. if i remember correctly it
had a 1996 copyright.

thanx for the info tho!

I haven't really been around long enough, nor had enough
money to really say what my favourite music year was. Not
that anyone needed to know that...

'97 or '98. back then hip-hop artists and electronic
musicians were dropping classics every week. now you get a
few a year, and never anything really mindblowing in rock.
the last good year for rock was probably '95.

'94 for me - Cos everything felt unbelievably fresh and
different back then.

the song several species of small fury animals gathered
together in a cave and grooving with a pict by pink floyd,
released 1969 already sounded like aphex twin, by the way.

The weird thing is, the ''sunshine year'' was actually
pretty dark, with all the political going-ons and stuff like
Let it Bleed, the concept albums, hard rock getting big with
Zep and Sabbath (who I left out), Beatles infighting, The
Stooges, etc. It wasn't the summer of love, even with
Woodstock (Poserstock).

I always thought there was a psychotic undercurrent to the
BOC track anyway.

remember when cats like the beatles, neil young, joni
mitchell, bob dylan, the who, kraftwerk, can, isaac hayes,
black sabbath, stevie wonder, marvin gaye, etc. were just
dropping gem after gem less than a year apart? some say that
it's cos albums were shorter back then (~35 minutes) but i
think there was something really special about the 60s and
70s that just died before the 80s began.. classics still
come out but they're rare now
