you know whenever an artist releases a succesfull record and after some time he releases something that's in a different style people say "why could't he sound like the previous record". but if he DOES something similar people say that he keeps doing the same thing and say that he's boring.so basiclly you guys are never happy. I don't care if they do the same or change their style. if I want something different i'll listen to something else.does it matter to be original if the music is good?
ps. Spokes is a wonderfull album pps. BOC R0X0rzzzzzz

what a stupid response - posting in a thread does not mean i commend it in any way, and it certainly does not mean that i "want you"

nah, you're simplifying too much that it doesn't make sense anymore...
first, you pre-suppose that either the musicians/bands do always the same thing, either they do something always different.
that's not as simple! most bands (i believe) are keeping their own sound but still evolving...
second, you pre-suppose that we're ALL criticizing AT THE SAME TIME the ones who do always the same thing and the ones who never do the same thing twice... where did you see this? again, that's too simple, even if you take the hypothesis that musicians do either always the same thing either always something different.
boards of canada are very popular here, and yet they're always very similar to themselves... have you noticed? : )
and aphex twin is very popular here too, and yet he's always very different and re-inventing himself at each release (or almost)... have you noticed? : )
(btw, i am vegetarian too.)

thanks happy cycling! : )
Jaysuz Jones > Chocolate Synthesizer is a very big mess of crazy random stuff, that goes everywhere at the same time ^^ ...i wouldn't risk myself rating it after only two or three listens (i received it today), but it seems that it is the kind of music you say "what the hell is this shitty crap?!" at first listen, yet you're still listening to it because there is something in it you like after all, and after some listens, you love it and can't get enough of it... : )
(i had downloaded two tracks off it before i bought it, Acid Police and B For Boredoms, and it worked this way for these! i think it will probably for the other tracks too)
here you can download B For Boredoms, the 10th (and one of the best imo) track off the album. it will give you an idea! and here you have a review with a few short sound snippets.
btw, the artwork is absolutely (and voluntarily) atrocious!! =D

once again its a topic about uh.. what again? oh yeah, nothing cause there are all types of people on this earth, and all those people saying different things about an album or artist? Thats called being human, we all like different things. So why the hell does this kind of topic exist! hahhaaaaa

If I complain about an artist's followup releases it is because they are not any good.
Why would it surprise anyone that someone with the level of musical training most electronic musicians have would have trouble coming up with something a) new and b) interesting?
