i'm quite surprised that this thread has been left without mention of a good few punk bands that actually embody the spirit of punk, totally. the ramones, the clash, the damned, the stooges, new york dolls, the sonics.... they arent fake punk rock. they are the guys who made it good. its a shame that total piss like green day or blink 182 would be beside these bands in a record store in the "punk" section. i think its a tragedy. |

Its like Sure they didnt give a shit but they werent PUNK ROCK. Anyway In my area we got a ton of guys saying that they "SAVED THE SCENE" but when in relaity all they did was jump on the good charlote/schreeching weasel band wagon. |
