this is a long shot, but does anyone know which track(s) he
sampled in the track "Mystic Bounce" ???

it sounds like something A Tribe Called Quest sampled to...
Electric Relaxation was it?

anyway... i downloaded this album yesterday, 2 hours later i
was phoning my local record store to order it in :) its
incredible!!

(not preaching) get the album, besides it being something
you'll ALWAYS have in your system, it contains extensive
liner notes. it's a cover/remix album; all but one song
(which was written as a tribute by madlib) are blue note
jazz classics.

"Mystic Bounce" is originally Ronnie Foster's "Mystic Brew".

i shouldn't reply to messages before i finish reading them..
you already ordered it, great!

for anyone else... this is a dope album, really fun, can't
ask for a more enjoyable listen. it's also musically
impressive w/o being showoffy.
