Hi knowledgeable users.

I have a question. I downloaded a movie or thought i did and
was expecting .avi or maybe even .mpeg but instead after the
bit torrent finshed i was left with:

CD_Image_File_CD1.cue (cue file)
CD_Image_File_CD1 (bin file)

How do i make these useful? I have never seen this before.
Also i use Roxio to burn VCD's.

a .bin is a compressed archive, you can open it with winzip
or stuffit expander.

A disk image is just a file that's emluated as a disk, you
should be able to double click on it and it will open a new
folder with the file inside.

CDRWin popularized the bin/cue image - so you should be able
to burn it with that program at least. Nero should work as
well.

get nero off their homepage
get the crack off kazaa
install both
get mcaffee off kazza
get mcaffee crack off kazaa
install both
update mcafee via net
use it to remove the viruses from all downloaded files

Long time no see Mr. Whale! Server still up?

I installed CDRWin and it burnt the CD "sucessfully" except
i get the "incorrect disc" on my dvd player.

Usually i have no problems playing VCD's on there.

Also it does play on my computer fine. Just like anyother
DVD would.

Yep, still up. Where have you been? :-)

Hard to say why it didn't work with your DVD player. Maybe
it's in PAL format or something.

noNononono!

forget everything everybody said here above and get DAEMON
TOOLS. instead of burning the image file, daemon will open
the contends and create a new "virtual" drive for it. it
tricks the computer into thinking that there's a new CD
drive with a new cd in it.

Daemon Tools is not really that helpful if you want to watch
it on your DVD player.

virginpusher: send me an email if you want your connection
information again. Your email address isn't public.

You're absolutely right. I forgot I'm the only one here who
watches movies on a real TV instead of hunched in front of a
computer.
