It's easier to be a woman, than a man

offline Monoid from one source all things depend on 2003-10-23 09:44 [#00914934]

Most men are attracted to looks.

Most women are attracted to: confidence, humor, status,
wealth.

Most women are born with looks. they need to expend minimal
effort to get laid and/or easily find a mate.

Most men are not born with confidence, humor, status,
wealth. they need to learn & earn it.

Men need to earn it, while women don't. women have it
easier.

Sure, horsefaced women are largely fucked. but so are stupid
men.

Yes, older women have it tough. but that's simply because
they're no longer judged solely on their looks. which means
they're just like older men... where they are judged based
on confidence, humor, status, and wealth

THATS WAS MY RANT FOR TODAY. ENJOY

Dude, women bleed out of their vagina every month and have
to pass 8 lb babies through their crotch. I don't want to
be a woman.

Woman value looks in a man as much if nor more than men
value looks in a woman. Most guys would fuck an ugly/fat
chick while most woman will not fuck an ugly man.

I think the correct title should be:
It's easier to be a woman, than to be Monoid.

Monoid > you can't say life is easier for women JUST because
of the sexual attraction affair.

it would be as ridiculous as saying that one CD is better
than another because the one you prefer has red on the cover
art and that you like red!!

it is just an aspect - and even, this aspect isn't a fair
argument: beauty and moral qualities are totally subjective,
i personally wouldn't say there are more ugly women than
ugly men nor the contrary... it's the same, men just find
women more beautiful because they're attracted to them
that's all. whereas there are FACTS showing how much wifes
have difficult lifes, and not only the periods, giving
birth, there are also all the men having no respect for them
(i suppose you're one of them...), more often than you think
they're beating them, humiliating them, harassing them,
raping them... have you even THOUGHT of how the women were
treated in Afghanistan? well there still are cases of that
and surely more than you think. and not only there... even
in modern societies, where for example women have to work as
much as men but are paid less, and other shit like that.

you could also say:

"it's easier to be black, because you cannot get sunburns as
easily as white people."

, like you don't know the Apartheid and all that (which, i
agree, is over, but you can't say racism has disappeared of
our society).

Funny that women celebrate all the equality they've gained
and yet they routinely take men to the cleaners financially
and court ordered alimony is at an all time high

even if today's western society, misogynism is as well an
"all time high", much more common than those "women
celebrating the equality they've gained" you're talking
about (and by the way, if they need to gain the
equality, and they still need to, it shows that men always
had more rights than women, therefore an injustice and NOT
in the benefits of women... feminist movements keep fighting
because there is a need of it, beause of that inequality -
there is no "masculinist movement"......), and who cares
about "court ordered alimony" it's just a detail...

seconded

it doesn't matter... in everyway an individual regardless of
race, sex or creed will face some sort of discrimination in
one way or another.

i do have to agree with moniod a bit...especially here in
japan. women are forced to be such a barbie doll here. They
have no muscle tone whatso ever. Small, and frial is
definatly the look here. They're raised to be a trophy a
step back, and an incibator for the family heir.

having said that, most women here simply have to look hot,
since it's suposed to be the man's place to do all the
"work."

consequently, when you venture into the japanese
counter-culture, you'll notice that the real catches in
women are quite the opposite. beautiful, smart, and strong
willed. Steady jobs, and active lifes.

sadly, a woman will never be a ceo here in japan, japanese
women are given a yearly bonus simply due to the fact that
the conditions are so bad.

I say; if your tired of being a certian sex, then change!

i agree with mappatazee as usual - giving birth and bleeding
for a week every month is quite a bit of crap to go through.
plus, there's menopause, hot flashes, pregnancy, blah blah
blah

I don't think you can put pregnancy in there. Sure it hurts
more than we could imagine (unless you have an acute case of
colic, which apparently it equivalent) but it does create a
bond that males will never know. I'm not saying it's 100%
great but it kinda is...

have to?
if i weren't so repulsed by hairy legs etc i wouldn't shave.
not for any man, no no. i wish i didn't care about it, but
i guess the fact that i dislike it so much proves the effect
society has on our very perception of the natural female
form etc etc.

bullshit.

women structurally get paid less than men for doing the
exact same work
.

women still hit a glass ceiling when trying to advance in
their career.

there are more single women than single men.
