What sort of samples do you use? There's loads of good "background porn-music" outhere! Cheesy, funky stuff...make them go in loops....i've also been experimenting with old skool stuff, like Vanilla Ice. Bit_Meddler (Planet-Mu) did some really wicked stuff where he'd sampled Kris Kross's "Jump" (remember?)... |

ice ice baby song by vanilla ice the hook or whatever that everyone knows the song by is sampled from a queen song from 76. what i sample is music from the 50's becuase they have the best guitar ever, especially lover boy. |

So you remix cheesy music and sounds, I'd like to hear it. I have very low tech equipment and use basically the same sample for all my songs which is some guy saying "this is a 16 bit recording, (then sings) it's a cooool wiiinter'sss night! and the moonlights bleeeeeding through." I'll spam my lame music station again. www.mp3.com/stations/blueberrymuffins I think great music could be made from muting the tv and unmuting it for a brief bit and muting it again and getting all the samples like this. I don't even have a microphone though. (especially if the channel was the teletubbies or something) |

Old skool porn flicks w/sound is what i mainly focus on right now. wwwww: i would love to give you the link to one i found a couple of weeks ago; fuzzy, distorted 70's guitars while some girl got..(you know). can't remember where i found it. sorry. |

samples? i only sample other peoples music if i'm doing a remix, or if i need good ideas... but i still use breakbeats and loops from the net, most of the time i cut em up beyond recognition though.. as for sampled guitars, why sample when you can play guitar? all of my industrial tracks have real guitars in them (i havent released any yet though).. |

I like to use the following samples : 1. Funny noises from my throat, not human beat box, just stoopid noises and combine them in this drum programme that allows wavs to be combined. i suppose sometimes i attempt to make electronic sounds with my mouth 2. Sound of me attacking meat with wooden hammer 3. sounds of insects used as beats and melodies from the sound of some baby foxes i got off the net with effects added (thats what i used in that fastish song i sent to you rf) |

im into making all my own stuff all the synths are..erm synths...nto REALLy makign your own "sounds", i dont think, but what the hell most of the drums are breakbetas i make of all my old drum samples. i wav render them and cut em up like regular breaks. thing is that they are alwyas better quality coz theyre recorded internally. a lot of my drums are made on other progs too. oh yeah but funny sampels are great i like sampling the local radio station DJs when theyre drunk on the air or giving each other shit or both, lol. |

Once i bought the Magix Samples Collection just because it was really cheap...now i know why..all the samples were horrible, i have 5 cd's with shitty samples, especially the Vocal Samples cd. There are like 500 vocal samples on that, and all of them is performed by some twat who goes "ohhh yeaah", "oooo, baby", i wanna see youuu moooove". Makes me wanna vomit when i hear those. |

WHERE HAVE ALL THE BREAKBEAT SAMPLES GONE?????? I want some beats like Aphex, but he wouldnt let them out.....the lzy git (as quoted by Jim Royle) i agree with Fresch (sorry if the name is spelt wrong) i want some good vocals not all that trance shit, it makes me wanna vomit shit and shit vommit. why cant i get any vocals like slipknot, that would be madness. I think Aphex should collaberate with Slipknot to do a version of Come to Daddy (pappy mix). Now i mean come on, how good would that be, ten people who are totally out of there heads thrashing guitars and drums and synths and HARD SHOUTING VOCALS into a track that has come straight from the fiery depths of Mo Molan's knicker drawer *sighs* im done |

sometimes i use sound wavs from rogue spear...its amazing how many details they put in that game..theres a whole library of sounds...from bugs to gunshots.. heheh...theres even a fart sound..though i think they just put it in as a joke since i've never heard it the game... speaking of cheesy vocal samples though...where can i find some housy diva samples? ...heheh just think it might sound funny mixed into a fucked drum n bass track..lightly chopped of course :) |
