So I'm living with this guy and his girlfriend, and they kinda annoy me... the landlord left this stereo and a fan here (along with other stuff obviously, but the stereo and fan is part of my story) and so my roommates go and basically claim ownership on the stereo and fan... they hog the stupid things each and every night, and leave in their room like it's theirs... here I am, unable to listen to my yummy music (well not really, I have my portable cd player) while they blast their crappy Dishwalla crap in the night while I try to sleep... it's annoying me to no end... so, last night I figured "fuck this"... so I hijacted the stereo, and I'm gonna hog the damn thing... and Dishwalla? Well, I figured I'd put on some Go Plastic and blast it while they tried to sleep... lol... it was so much fun... and it's funny, cause I'm gonna leave the stereo on the table in my room RIGHT next to my portable stereo... just to tick them off... shrug, maybe I'm an idiot, but that was getting on my nerves... and that was fun last night... :) |

nod, I usually use my headphones too... especially in bed... the only reason I had go plastic blasting on the stereo last night was to get on their nerves... usually I'd be lying in bed with my headphones on... it's just that sometimes I like to use a stereo like that, like if I'm reading or something... and they kept hogging the damn thing, so I figured I'd do it to them a bit... |

and rather then have an arguement about, I'm just gonna go get the damn stereo when I please... if they don't want me in their room, they can leave the fucking thing outside when they aren't using it... I don't mind them using the stereo and fan, obviously... cause I don't own them either... but I just get annoyed when they hog it, and make it seem like they do own it... |

Just tell them, quite reasonably, that you're paying rent as well and those items are as much yours as theirs (despite there being 2 of them). Insist they keep them in the communal areas such as the lounge or kitchen. |

i dont care much for my roommate at all either...she turns off the air conditioning when i turn it on (we dont pay utilities), she opens the blinds when i leave them closed, she is ALWAYS watching a movie on my tv & dvd player with her stupid boyfriend, and she got the real bedroom while i got the slave quarters which is about the size of a large walk in closet.....but we pay the same in rent...... |

nod... well Go Plastic is pretty extreme... hehe, I've been listening to Go Plastic for ages, and am used to it... but I had it pretty loud, and even I was a little uncomfortable... that cd can go from super quiet to super loud in a split second... I call it my most headache inducing cd... although it doesn't really bother me at reasonable volumes... :) |

I live in a huge 2 story house and I pay for the top block, there is this indian couple living beneath me but they barely ever cause any hassle, I once tried to say hello and they wouldn't even grace me with a response, they seem like bastard but haven't caused me any problems, so I don't mind, they might as well not be htere I'm now going to play v-proc heaps loud, just because I think it will be funny |

They're such dirt bags... there is nothing more gross then going in the laundry room and seeing someone elses dirty underwear (a guys mind you... I could stand a girls) on the floor... and dirty towels hung on doors, so they basically fly in my face as I open the doors... and other dirty clothes all over the floors in the hallways... fucking dirtbags, I just want to beat their asses into submission!!! and now the bitches brother is coming for two weeks... that'll be real fun... can't wait to see this guy... but what's up with that? The girl seriously has some confidence issues... her boyfriend comes over here for three months, and she has to tag along... and now she has to drag her brother over, cause I guess she can't STAND to be away from people she knows for more then a few minutes... she's probably afraid the people will get sense and ditch her... Well, for one thing this whole trip and stuff, being over here, is through my university and the company where I work hired two students through my university, me and my roommate... secondly, there wasn't much choice as to where we lived cause it was a problem to find accomodations, and the place we are living is expensive... and also, it's only a temporary place... only for three months total... so, I didn't have any choice really, but to live with them... he dragged his girlfriend along, which I was ok with cause then we could split the rent three ways... That is why the fuck I would live with people I don't like... cause I'm here in a foreign country, and have no other choice but to live with them... so, I deal with it... and I vent my rage on here! :) |
