so yeah, I come back from work, only to be greated by a
nice wave of smoke coming out of the door.

the trashcan was on fire... my roommate was emptying his ash
tray, and there apparently was a half lite cig in it...

luckily just threw some water on it, and took the trashcan
outside...

but now the whole house reeks of smoke

garbage smoke

bah

oh

and heres the best part

the landlord came to do inspections a few weeks ago, since
our old roommate moved out, and they had to check for
damages...

anyways, there wasnt a fire alarm in the hallway... so they
where like "you should have reported this! every apartment
needs a fire alarm!' so they give us a new one

so anyways.... yeah, the fire alarm doesnt work 0_o

When I was a kid I use to light my garbage can on fire in
the middle of my room and throw rolls of CAPS in it. I was
REALLY REALLY Fucked up as a kid.

My roomate nearly burned our apartment down. he was cooking
and a piece of paper towel was left next to the stove and it
caught fire. so he threw it in the sink and then the fire
got worse, so he beat it to death with a dishtowel.
Disaster averted.
