Correctional Facilities - Rock Parrot (Planet-Mu) appeared
on Men and Motors' coverage of the gumball run.

Aphex Twin - Goon Gumpas (Warp) appeared on The Big Read
2003 last night when Ruby Wax (of all people!) was
championing Catcher in the Rye.

These were very recent.

Oh and a documentary about Andy Warhol about a year ago used
Avril 14th. I'm a sad bastard and I get really excited when
I hear music I like on telly as background music, especially
stuff that I know that doesn't get played a lot on
mainstream.

in the media.

You're a trainspotter? Then repeat after me the
"Trainspotter's Pledge of Allegience":

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family,
Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines,
cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers.
Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance.
Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter
home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching
luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase in a
range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you
are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch
watching mind-numbing sprit-crushing game shows, stuffing
fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at
the end of it all, pishing you last in a miserable home,
nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up
brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your
future. Choose life.

But who would I want to do a thing like that?

I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the
reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've
got heroin? -Renton

;)

the topic, i loved it when i was in minneapolis with none of
my cds and was watching csi and they played everything in
its right place and i was so happy. i also remmeber that at
the blue man group rock tour they had a track from saw2 (i
forget which one) during intermission. thats was cool, i
felt so 1337

Fucks sake if you live europeside every second link bit on
Sky News uses BoC (Gyroscope was a favourite of theirs for
quite a while). I also hear SAW2 a lot in documentaries on
C4 - one particularly memorable one about bio-warfare
recently used nothing *but* SAW2.

I have heard that unlike ads, artists don't earn much from
TV bgm licensing though.
