hey guys. maybe you dont really know me so well, but i'm hoping that some of you will take the time to read this and maybe give me some advice. it would mean a lot to me.
here's the situation (quite dramatic, please bare with me):
there's this girl from ontario i've been talking to over the internet and on the phone for a few years now. She is still quite young and very insecure. Her parents are divorced and treat her very badly. She's intelligent, but school isnt going well because of her emotional problems. Shes hanging out with the wrong people. People who have abused her for being young and clueless about many things, including excessive use of alcohol and all sorts of drugs. This got to the point where she became addicted to a numer of things. The reason why this is not just bad, but pretty much as bad as it gets, is because her physical condition is going down fast. She's been suffering from asthma, ADD, eating disorders and a lot of other things the doctors are very unclear about. She takes loads of medication. To stop her from passing out, to make her sleep, to make sure she wont stop breathing, anti depressants etcetera. This, in combination with heavy depression, a very negative self-image, lack of love from parents, relatives & friends, drug & alcohol abuse is making her lose all faith in herself, other people and the future. She is in pain most of the time. One thing she really loves is modern dance. The problem is, that fat dancers dont exist. She is skinny as anything, and yet the dance teachers tell her to lose weight and wear a corset which fucks up her back really badly. To her mom, dance is everything so she no longer feeds her daughter. She literally locks cupboards, or hides food. Sometimes friends would give her some food, but her condition got to the point where she couldnt eat anymore without getting sick. She is now so skinny that she looks like she could collapse at any time, and still nobody helps her.
I'm afraid that she is dying. She says she is in pain constantly and

the rest of your post got cut off son, but here is what I have to say.
you're either in or your out. Frankly, I assume that you guys talk on the phone/internet, that you are a person she dumps a lot of her problems onto.
I don't know why you care about her, and that is not my business.
If you do care, this girl sounds like she needs help. She needs a dream she can achieve and a healthy path to get there.
In short, she needs to get completely out of her own life.
If her parents lock the cabinets so she will not eat, that is called child abuse.
To be perfectly honest, there is nothing you can do, except help her break the cycle. There is nothing you can do to help her but encourage her to get the hell out.
There is nothing that will make this better but getting the hell out. Go to one of those programs for drug abusers, get a job accross the country, boarding school, something.
If she doesn't get out, she might not physically die, but it sounds like her soul might. Letting go, getting out and starting over is the only chance at a second chance at life.......
warms regards and well wishes, George

hmm hard to give advice when you don't know the situation first hand, but what BlatantEcho said was pretty accurate to what I would say.

how old is htis person?
if her parents are not allowing her to eat food, depending on her age child welfare could (should) intervene...
