on these new cds. it really pisses me off, and not because
i can't copy it to the computer. i know there are ways to
get around that. but what really gets to me is that they
know the cds have compatability issues in some players, and
they still sell them.

i went to play 'hail to the theif' and the new chems
'singles 93-03' in my mom's car, to show her some new music,
and since both have this fucking copy control, they wouldn't
play for shit on the system. both started halfway through
the cd, and when i went to switch songs, it just went to
track 1 and wouldn't continue.

i know it's not the car system, becuase i played regular cds
after and it was fine. it just bugs me that they know it
won't work all the time, and still produce it.

the industry has been encouraging people for years to use
their computers to play cds and now they seem intent on
trying to stop it. idiots.

i ordered my chemical brothers' Singles 93-03 album from
amazon.com (the US don't do this stupid shit) to avoid that
Copy Control. :D *proud*

so now i can play it on my computer, and if you wanted a
track, i could copy it for you!

fuck you, EMI!

mostly b-sides and stuff, but there's at least 4 completely
unreleased tracks from throughout their career. it's damn
good. few live tracks, some alternate mixes. well worth it.
