How do I route the signal from a VST instrument to a mixer channel so I can apply effects to it? The mixer inserts and sends for the midi channels only have midi effects like arpeggiator and midi echo. Maybe I need to spend some quality time with the manual... |

The audio FX are not applied to the MIDI channel but to the VSTi channel which gets created when you load a VSTi. You can access this channel in the track list under the VSTi folder or in the mixer (if VSTi channels are not hidden; check the buttons on the left). |
