Listening to "Motoki" by TRS-80 right now - damned good stuff. I heard they recorded it in a studio with an old BF Rich. I've noticed some good intelligent/contemporary music (and a tad bit of IDM) with guitars - i don't see it as a problem. I use guitars a bit in my tunes as well. any input? |

other non-rock artists that use guitar content well: amon tobin dj shadow hybrid bt orbital mua (xlt vibes 4 or 5, i forget which...the pillow one) sanguine (feeding ground bloody koala mix download it today or i will cut you) ...and i'm sure i've forgotten tons. |

The Microphones has guitar and is very very good. Especially the album Mt. Eerie. A second to Cex, especially Being Ridden. There is a lot of good guitar music. |
