Spokes or Trainer?

dumb question, i know... but... : )

Trainer seems more varied and is a "real" 2CD set - but
Spokes comes with the exclusive CD now (which is just a mix
though, only a few new tracks)...

...which one would you choose?

because it's better music or because of the exclusive cd?

For me,Trainer is the single worst Plaid release. Probably
because it is not entirely a PLAID release. Most of the
tracks are from Black Dog era, which I never quite get into.

i love Uneasy Listening and Summit (which are the only
tracks i've heard entirely from it, but i have sound samples
too).

I'd pick Spokes, but Trainer is a great album as well. The
*really* early stuff reminds me of early Orbital at times.

Haven't heard anything from Spokes yet... Trainer is
excellent though. I love Black Dog, though not quite as much
as I love Plaid. Bytes is a 5 star album for me.

i got a promo copy of spokes from warp the other day. i
think its great, the best of their plaid work to date, but
give me spanners or bytes anyday.

you can't compare them,

Double Figure or Spokes
or
Trainer or Bytes

would be more reasonable

Neither, Plaid are getting 'safer' by the minute for me.
Both are okay, nothing really special.

geeeeez you say some hater-ish stuff sometimes.. plaid are
world class musicians; anyone who can make music as
excellent as "eyen", "sincetta", "dead sea", etc. are fine
by me

yea i know but you're always dissing plaid, i don't think
they'd have SO many fans (and you know they do) if they were
bad

i haven't heard spokes yet.. i doubt it'll live up to OWE,
yoseph, or sheath, but i'll get it, maybe even w/ that mix
disc..
