never really listened to any of his stand-up, but I saw the
movie about his life the other day (starring Dustin Hoffman)
and the bits were hilarious and the movie was fantastic.

Any recommendations of his work?

read his book "How to Talk Dirty and Influence People".

half of it is transcriptions of his trials, but I enjoyed
