tried to upload a track today of about 4.9 MB, and the fucker said that the "video size" was too big (and it was an audio file, and i did choose "upload song")
did they change the filesize limit AGAIN?

actually it is a pay service now - but all the people who got on free, back when it was free, still enjoy free service, when it's working.

a free service would comprise of NO banners, and better yet, the artists would have the rights to legaly distribute their works in any form for how ever much, with no limit.
that is free. both meaning no cost, and no limit. it seems that zebox breaks BOTH of these definitions. sorry bro, but zebox is anythying but free.

Oh, that's not what I'm saying. Of course, they want you to pay for the service, but you can't really complain if something you haven't paid for doesn't work.
Or something.

mm, no actually.
a free service is something given to you for free.
in this case - 3 times 5Mb of diskspace.
there may be banners, there may be a maximum filesize - but still: no money has exchanged hands.

There 5 Mb limit actually seems to be 5000000 bytes not actually 5Mb. A 4.9Mb file actually works out at about 5100000 bytes which is higher than their limit.
It has actually always been like this. You need to limit your file sizes to about 4.7Mb on your hard drive before uploading.
