I haven't heard too much of 'em, so I'm wondering what their best albums are, since they have so many. well, if anyone on here likes them that is; any suggestions? |

You might as well work yor way up chronologically, because they've yet to put out a disapointing album. Plus, the first two are two of the better ones anyway. Curtains is my favorite overall though. |

There was a Tindersticks topic yesterday. It got a high as 4 (yes, FOUR!) posts. I like them. Lots. Start at the start. If you find yourself about to listen to A Marriage Made In Heaven, listen to the original version, not the one with Isabella Rossellini (or however it's spelled). She's crap. |

Ophecks, I'm looking at their discog right now. uh, looks like their earliest releases are vinyl only, or have they been re-issued on cd? |

Some of the tracks from the early vinyl-only records are on the debut album, and some are on the Donkeys compilation. I have a lot of the rest on CDR recorded from the vinyl. |

''Tindersticks'' and ''Tindersticks (II)'' shouldn't be too hard to get on CD, they might have earlier EPs or singles or something but I haven't heard them. But their first two official LPs are definitely on CD. |

oho...whats this?? tindersticks are getting more popular from day to day :) my favourite album by tindersticks is the score they did for nenette et boni - perhaps it has something to do with a fact that the film is in my top 10 favourite films but as ophecks said, all their albums are nice so you really cant go wrong, just pick any album you can find, well if you can find "nennete et boni" or "second album" get these first btw, they're coming to play here in about a month and cant wait to see them live (they're on tour, so check if they're perhaps coming your way) |

they're great, i got an album for my mother from them, might have to steal it back, i doubt my folks listen to it, it's this album with a picture of those guys standing, it's great |

yes, wonderful, i'd seen them on tv on a festival and really liked two songs and those were on that album. on that album i liked the big orchestral stuff alot too, was really cool dissonant in some places |

umm, i think its what people call drama, its about a relationship between brother and sister...both actors were young but totally awesome...must be one of the most emotional films i ever saw i was trying to get a dvd for a really long time, and then i found some shop? over the internet in LA and i ordered it i got it pretty soon and as it turned out it was a pirate copy of a dvd which was never released...not even on a tape...weird shit, but the copy is excellent, just like any other dvd :) |

well, i just went over to allmusic to read up on tindersticks and see what all the fuss is about. i'm definitely intrigued...i guess i'll start with the second album as most of you seem to really like that one! :) |
