Radiohead

Tiago Guedes from Portugal-Queluz on 2001-11-17 20:11 [#00053070]

I have a small suggestion for all the fans of radiohead and
music lovers in general: download the live in Berlin version
of "likespinningplates" from the last Radiohead album -
Amnesiac. It's simply Tom and a piano...amazing.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-11-17 20:12 [#00053071]

I'll do that, thanks.
Radiohead got me into Aphex in the first place.

they have a live album out now with 7 tracks includeing that
exact song

Yeah, I heard that version...I'm guessing that the Amnesiac
version of like spinning plates is the same piano notes only
flipped backwards...

I saw them live last year at Rock im Park. They played over
two hours as headliners (Limp Bizkit the day before, played
75 minutes, and NO I DIDN'T go and see THEM!)
Anyway, it was amazing, the light show really fits the music
well and Nigel Godrich (their producer) came on during one
track to play the tambourine. God knows why.
The coolest thing was Everything In Its Right Place with
Johnny fiddling with a radio attached to some effects
machine creating really weird noises live into the track and
also fucking up Thom's live voice in the process (very
cool).

I wish I could see them. I never get to go to any good
concerts.
