I went to slsk homepage to see if a new version was out since it's not connecting to me... I saw there was one listed for a few days ago and downloaded it - the installer was in German until I changed my location to the UK -- after which it asked me if I was prepared to pay the £1.50 per minute connection fee.... which I of course declined... then I went to check the server and it threw up the German Download New Version popup... what the hell is going on here?! |

The server is definitely down... you can get to the slsknet.org website and download clients, but they won't connect. I even tried using the previous DNS fix version.... probably more of the usual bullshit. |

The version I'm currently using is the 149FIX version - when I go to the Web section of slsk, it shows the 'old' page (ie the spammy one). |
