I own it, but never listen to it. I liked it the first time I listened to it, then realized how truly ridiculous the whole thing is...it's 70's prog rock...they over do it with effects pedals on like EVERYTHING...and they're not even good ones...WOW phaser and wah wah at the same time!? whoa craziness! their songs aren't consistant, they go nowhere, two many guitar solos, did I mention they use too many effects pedals? |

i love it, but then... i like effects. i also like panning, mixing and post-production EQ. they make me happy. |

from what I heard I wasn't too impressed, sounded like a bad RUSH rehash on er..hash... and that's coming from me when I have been in a rock mood for a wee while. |

no, coheed and cambria sounds like a bad rush re-hash. mars volta sounds like good afro-pop renditions of pink floyd's first couple albums. |
