I just returned from the world premiere of this great little New Zealand flick. It's a pseudo reality show about a camera crew following a group of New Zealanders in their 20's on their OE (Overseas Experience) traveling all the hot spots of europe in a kombi van. It leads into sex and drugs and mystery and intrigue, though it starts as a very canny aproximation of a reality show, slowly the characters and plot creep up on you and leave you hooked. It might take a while to make it to the rest of the world, but keep an an eye out for it, it's a real treat. All the euros here might be interested in seeing their continent from a very gritty and realistic down under perspective. |
