This film deserves its own topic, for fuck's sake (at least
to compensate for elusive's topic about Matrix 2). I think
it's terribly overlooked. Yes.

Discuss, or die, or live a happy life, I don't care.

Right.

It has truly amazing cinematography. Some shots had me in
awe.

this movie is really good. it's fairly slow most of the
time, but the story is interesting, the acting is very good,
and it's shot beautifully.

it's not for everyone, but if you like kubrick, you'd
probably appreciate this one as well

kubrick is a genious. but the film he made seven years
earlier is better. in fact, it's the best film ever.

'2001: A Space Odyssey', right ? I'd agree with that.

Never seen it. It's my Mum's favourite film, so I am
suspect, though I love Kubric and I have the original
soundtrack on vinyl (cheers to my Ma again) and it fucking
rinses. But then Kubric's always been a dan when it comes to
soundtracks.

I watch it, along with the rest of the entire Kubrick boxed
set last night on through this morning. I dunno, kinda got
on a roll there.

The way he used those Zeiss lenses to get certain scenes to
look like old paintings is really just genius.
